Dissolvendo-me silenciosamente e apagando a mim mesmo,
procurei por ti.
Esgotado em meu caminho até ti,
fiquei para trás, enquanto tua misericórdia —
permaneceu como tu.

Agora não há dervixe,
nem mendicante, nem tigela de mendigo.

Em toda parte, há somente tu,
a plenitude do teu vazio.

Melting silently and effacing myself,
I searched for you.
Depleted on my way to you,
I stayed behind as your mercy–
lingered as you.

Now there is no darwish,
no mendicant, nor any beggar’s bowl.

Everywhere, it is only you,
the fullness of your emptiness.
