Vale ressaltarmos que o mais antigo documento que menciona a cegueira \u00e9 o Papiro de Ebers, escrito no Egito (1.553 \u2013 1.550 a.C.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jacob Twersky (pesquisador com defici\u00eancia visual) dividiu sua investiga\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a representa\u00e7\u00e3o de PDVs nas literaturas em quatro per\u00edodos. O primeiro contempla desde o Velho Testamento (B\u00edblia relata a hist\u00f3ria de Tobias, que ficou cego devido a uma doen\u00e7a ap\u00f3s cobrir os olhos com fezes de andorinha, sendo posteriormente curado por um anjo no livro de Tobias, que faz parte dos livros deuterocan\u00f4nicos. No Novo Testamento, h\u00e1 o caso de Saulo (Paulo) que ficou cego temporariamente ap\u00f3s um encontro com Jesus na estrada para Damasco, e o cego Bartimeu, curado por Jesus perto de Jeric\u00f3) at\u00e9 as obras lan\u00e7adas no ano de 1784.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segundo \u00e9 de 1784 (que abarca o in\u00edcio da primeira escola para cegos em Paris, fundada por Valentin Ha\u00fcy) at\u00e9 o ano de 1873 (um momento de amplia\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema Braille).&nbsp; &nbsp; O terceiro, de 1873 a 1914 (um tempo de inicia\u00e7\u00e3o dos programas de reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o para 37 soldados cegos americanos).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exemplos: o conto <strong>As Estrelas do Cego<\/strong>, de Jo\u00e3o da C\u00e2mara, <strong>1900.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <\/strong>O cego era um velho corcovado, tr\u00eamulo, com a face cheia de rugas cruzadas, como um peda\u00e7o de papel amachucado.<strong> <\/strong>O Conto <strong>A cega<\/strong>, de Viriato Corr\u00eaa, est\u00e1 no seu primeiro livro <strong>Minaretes<\/strong>, 1902. O conto <strong>A Caolha<\/strong>, de J\u00falia Lopes de Almeida, publicado em&nbsp;1903. Trata-se da hist\u00f3ria de um filho, Antonico, e sua m\u00e3e que perdeu um olho. O filho sente vergonha da m\u00e3e, sofrendo bullying devido \u00e0 sua defici\u00eancia. Ap\u00f3s tentar se afastar dela para se casar, ele descobre que a m\u00e3e foi cegada por ele quando crian\u00e7a, num acidente com um garfo, o que leva \u00e0 sua reviravolta e ao desmaio de Antonico.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; E o \u00faltimo \u00e9 de 1914 at\u00e9 a publica\u00e7\u00e3o da pesquisa, em 1955, de Jacob Twersky.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exemplos s\u00e3o as obras: <strong>Ap\u00f3logo brasileiro sem v\u00e9u de alegoria<\/strong>, de Ant\u00f3nio de Alc\u00e2ntara Machado (de 1936 &#8211; no livro <strong>Mana Maria e contos avulsos<\/strong>) \u2013 onde o personagem com defici\u00eancia visual \u00e9 flautista. A autora chama aten\u00e7\u00e3o para o lugar-comum da associa\u00e7\u00e3o entre cegueira e dons musicais, lembrando ao leitor que a defici\u00eancia n\u00e3o gera nenhum talento ou aptid\u00e3o especial. <strong>Inf\u00e2ncia<\/strong>, de Graciliano Ramos (de 1945 &#8211; narra mem\u00f3rias do autor, e a sua condi\u00e7\u00e3o de crian\u00e7a cega \u00e9 uma mem\u00f3ria real e significativa, que moldou sua introspec\u00e7\u00e3o e sua rela\u00e7\u00e3o com o mundo).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>S\u00e3o Marcos<\/strong>, de Guimar\u00e3es Rosa (de 1946 &#8211; o protagonista e narrador&nbsp;Iz\u00e9&nbsp;fica temporariamente cego, perdendo a vis\u00e3o ap\u00f3s zomb\u00e7ar do feiticeiro&nbsp;Jo\u00e3o Mangol\u00f4.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; A cegueira \u00e9 provocada por um vodu, mas Iz\u00e9 recupera a vis\u00e3o ao rezar a ora\u00e7\u00e3o de S\u00e3o Marcos e se aproximar da casa do feiticeiro, que retira a venda de um boneco, simbolizando a liberta\u00e7\u00e3o do protagonista da maldi\u00e7\u00e3o).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A partir desta divis\u00e3o do pesquisador Jacob Twersky, investigamos obras a partir da terceira fase do Modernismo, Neste per\u00edodo, h\u00e1 <strong>As cores<\/strong>, de Or\u00edgenes Lessa (de 1960 &#8211; da colet\u00e2nea intitulada&nbsp;<strong>Balbino, homem do mar<\/strong>.&nbsp; A personagem&nbsp;Maria Alice&nbsp;\u00e9 a \u00fanica cega.&nbsp;Ela \u00e9 a figura central da narrativa, que aborda o drama de uma pessoa que perdeu a vis\u00e3o, um tema que a obra explora de maneira ir\u00f3nica, uma vez que o conto se chama &#8220;As Cores&#8221;) \u2013 onde a pesquisadora afirma que a personagem \u00e9 representada como se pertencesse a um mundo limitado pelo fato de ter uma defici\u00eancia.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">E o conto<br>Em &#8220;Amor&#8221;, conto <strong>Amor<\/strong> de Clarice Lispector (1960). Neste, o <strong>cego mascando chiclete<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00e9 o elemento que causa uma epifania na personagem&nbsp;Ana. Embora n\u00e3o seja um personagem principal no sentido tradicional, a figura do cego funciona como um gatilho para a crise interior de Ana. Revelando a ela a crueza da vida e o contraste entre a sua exist\u00eancia mecanizada e a realidade pulsante.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O conto <strong>A Estrela Branca<\/strong>, publicado em <strong>Mist\u00e9rios<\/strong> de Lygia Fagundes Telles,\u00a01980 e, depois em <strong>Um Cora\u00e7\u00e3o Ardente,<\/strong> 2012. Neste, a escritora arra um transplante de olhos que devolve a vis\u00e3o a um cego, mas n\u00e3o o controle sobre a percep\u00e7\u00e3o que passa a ter, explorando a dualidade entre o que se v\u00ea e o que se &#8220;enxerga&#8221;, e como a mem\u00f3ria e a subjetividade moldam a realidade.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">E, na contemporaneidade, podemos citar: nas Literaturas Brasileiras:\u00a0<strong>At\u00e9 que a morte nos separe<\/strong>, de Ana Teresa Pereira, 2000. Esta revela a hist\u00f3ria de um inspector da pol\u00edcia assombrado por ter morto, num fogo cruzado, um inocente professor de literatura, acabando por ter um caso com uma jovem misteriosa, com quem casa e leva a morar com a sua filha cega. A filha morre e o segredo da jovem esposa \u00e9 revelado. A personagem <strong>Dorinha<\/strong>, da Turma da M\u00f4nica, foi criada por Mauricio de Sousa,\u00a02004. Ela foi inspirada na educadora Dorina Nowill e sua cria\u00e7\u00e3o teve como objetivo sensibilizar as crian\u00e7as para a quest\u00e3o da defici\u00eancia visual.\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eternidade e o Desejo In\u00eas Pedrosa O grande desafio, 2007. Narra a hist\u00f3ria de <\/strong>Clara, uma jovem professora portuguesa que decide voltar a Salvador anos ap\u00f3s uma terr\u00edvel experi\u00eancia na cidade &#8211; ao tentar salvar das balas o homem que amava, levou um tiro que a deixou cega. <strong>O grande desafio, 2007<\/strong>de Pedro Bandeira Moderna, 2016.\u00a0 A obra narra a hist\u00f3ria de Toni, um garoto bonito e inteligente, que leva uma vida quase normal apesar de ser cego. Com muita coragem ele enfrenta os obst\u00e1culos sem nunca desistir. A solu\u00e7\u00e3o foi a cria\u00e7\u00e3o da Biblioteca.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Como \u00e9 realizado o Projeto Luz &amp; Autor em Braille? Tamb\u00e9m completando 30 anos? Dinor\u00e1 Couto Can\u00e7ado: <\/strong>Nascido junto com a Biblioteca para a dinamiza\u00e7\u00e3o desse espa\u00e7o rec\u00e9m inaugurado, consiste na integra\u00e7\u00e3o de escritores brasilienses&nbsp; \u00e0 PcDV que leem a obra acess\u00edvel&nbsp; do autor&nbsp; que \u00e9 seu par e cria a sua produ\u00e7\u00e3o liter\u00e1ria, portanto ambos s\u00e3o Autores em Braille. Com isso, acabamos de ganhar um recorde mundial oficial do maior n\u00famero de produ\u00e7\u00f5es publicadas de PcDV. Tamb\u00e9m a celebra\u00e7\u00e3o das principais semanas nacionais (Museus, Arquivos, Primavera&#8230;) mas o que dura quase o ano todo \u00e9 o <strong>PIEI: Pr\u00eamio Internacional de Esp\u00edrito Inclusivo<\/strong> que\u00a0 mant\u00e9m a mesma caracter\u00edstica do projeto inicial da Biblioteca: duplas concorrem, sendo uma pessoas vidente par com uma pessoa com defici\u00eancia visual,\u00a0 resultando na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de textos e num reconhecimento p\u00fablico certificado.
