I burned to ashes
by jealousy\u2014
While you play
your love games
with another woman.
I can still feel
your physique,
your body\u2019s scent,
your warmth\u2014
That sacred time
was only ours.
It is easier to die
than to surrender my right.
You memorize countless names,
reciting them by heart\u2014
and my own curse
has slowly killed me.
I don\u2019t exist
anywhere within you.
I am not extraordinary enough
to endure this pain.
I cannot ignore
that ever-familiar femininity\u2014
How insulting\u2014
our blissful union
never reached your heart,
only touched your body.
Her hair, her scent\u2014
no longer weakens you.
You abandoned your own goddess,
yet filled your mind
with hundreds, thousands
of idols.
You write more poetry\u2014
but for whom?
I die every day.
Look\u2014
Blood drips down my face.
