Ramos António Amine: ‘O Altar da hipocrisia’
Toda sociedade forja os seus altares. Alguns são visíveis, feitos de pedra ou madeira, de púlpito e discurso moral. Outros são invisíveis, mas mais eficazes: sobrevivem da rotina diária, do cansaço coletivo, da indiferença, da neutralidade e da conveniência. É nesses altares que celebra-se diariamente a hipocrisia como excelência.
No altar da hipocrisia, a prostituta é oferecida em sacrifício. Não para a sua redenção, mas para sustentar a ilusão de que os que assistem ao teatro são puros. O seu cálice contém um vinho que só serve à autoridade. O seu corpo torna-se a caça simbólica das culpas alheias, a sua existência, um sinal conveniente de que o mal está sempre fora, nunca no centro do sistema.
A liturgia é conhecida. Condena-se em público o que se consome em privado. Defende-se a moral com a boca e viola-se com o desejo. O mesmo altar que exalta família, solidariedade e bons hábitos e nobres sentimentos sustenta-se sobre a exploração silenciosa daqueles que nunca tiveram acesso a nenhuma dessas promessas.
Nesse ritual, o cliente ajoelha-se apenas para rir da prostituta estendida nua no altar, nunca para assumir a culpa de ter aplaudido o sacrifício que ajudou a imolar. A autoridade ergue-se na neutralidade, legisla seletivamente e clama pela ordem ao que é apenas manutenção de privilégios. A sociedade aplaude, confortada pela distância cínica que construiu entre si e as suas próprias incoerências.
O altar da hipocrisia exige vítimas eternas: visíveis, mas não reconhecidas; abusadas e depois descartadas; toleradas na prática e julgadas no discurso. Precisa de corpos baldios para provar a própria virtude. Precisa de escândalos controlados para justificar a repressão e de pecadores confessos para esconder corrupções visíveis. Assim, a prostituta não é um acidente social, mas a substância preciosa do teatro moral.
No altar, ri-se da decadência, mas não se fala dos decadentes. Fala-se de escolhas, mas silencia-se a voz da prostituta que insiste em gemer mesmo em plena imolação. Fala-se de valores, mas ignora-se quem nunca teve condições para exigi-los. A hipocrisia não falha por ignorância; falha por cálculo.
Contudo, o altar começa a rachar quando a vítima recusa carregar sozinha o peso da culpa. Quando a prostituta levanta a voz, mesmo durante a comunhão dos ímpios, expõe as falsas promessas dos que sugam da sua própria miséria. Quando deixa de ser símbolo da decadência moral e passa a ser sujeito que ri da hipocrisia social. Nesse momento, o ritual perde eficácia e a moral encenada revela a sua própria decadência.
O verdadeiro escândalo não é o corpo da prostituta exposto no altar, mas a frieza com que a sociedade o contempla, revelando a sua incapacidade de assumir a própria hipocrisia, enquanto ainda exige cânticos silenciosos nos autos da santa feia. O altar da hipocrisia não precisa ser destruído pela força; basta retirar-lhe o silêncio cúmplice que o alimenta.
No fim, sobrevive uma verdade desconfortável: enquanto houver altares forjados à conveniência moral, haverá prostitutas sacrificadas em nome de uma excelência decadente. E talvez o maior ato ético do nosso tempo não seja erguer novos altares, mas recusar ajoelhar-se diante dos que já existem, pois a recusa é a virtude original do homem. Quem lê a história humana com a mesma frieza com que a ética da opulência observa a vítima, corrobora.
