Entardeceu mais uma vez. Estou sentindo aquela vontade boa de sair por aí fazendo trocadilhos no meio do caminho. Quero sorrir sem nenhum motivo, sentir o frescor do vento, ouvir o canto dos pássaros e ver a delicadeza do riacho. Subitamente me lembro que estou aguardando a visita do meu filho caçula que, neste momento, está atrasado. Então penso que não virá e tudo perdeu a graça instantaneamente. O filme romântico que parecia engraçado perdeu o tempero. Aperto o ‘pause’ e vou saciar a minha ansiedade na cozinha. Preparo uma massa recheada de queijo mineiro e um coquetel de cereais. Nada parece fazer sentido.
Então entendo que não é a proximidade física que une as pessoas e me lembro do meu primogênito. Desde o início a nossa relação foi marcada por obstáculos físicos. Durante a gestação eu trabalhava em uma escola na zona rural que ficava depois da torre de televisão, no ponto mais alto da cidade de Dom Cavati aqui no leste das ‘Terras das Alterosas’. Eu saía de casa às 5:15 da manhã, portanto antes do raiar do dia. Tinha que enfrentar o medo do escuro, a subida íngreme, o gado no meio do caminho e o mal-estar que sempre vinha pela manhã devido à gravidez. Quando chegava na torre, depois de ter caminhado mais de 5 km, ainda descia mais uns 2 km. Essa rotina durou até o sétimo mês de gestação, pois ele nasceu em 2 de março do ano seguinte.
Vivemos momentos intensos no seu primeiro ano de vida. Como mãe de primeira viagem mantinha sentinela por 24 horas no dia. De volta ao trabalho, depois da licença-maternidade, notei ao chegar em casa a sua solidão e logo encomendei um irmãozinho para fazer-lhe companhia. A fragilidade do meu corpo ficou visível. Estava grávida e, desta vez, doente. Mal conseguia dar uns passos dentro de casa. A recomendação médica era repouso total ou perderia o feto ainda com 3 meses de gestação. Tirei licença do trabalho e o meu primogênito, tão pequenino, não podia ficar comigo, pois era uma criança hiperativa e colocaria em risco a vida do irmãozinho. Vivemos esse dilema por longos meses. O pai o levava para ficar com os avós enquanto ele trabalhava. Eu só podia ficar com ele à noite sob vigilância.
Bem, deu tudo certo! O irmãozinho nasceu e ele se sentiu responsável por nós desde o primeiro instante. Pode parecer bizarro, mas em um minuto de distração ele, com um aninho, tirou o irmão do berço que estava no quarto e me entregou na copa, onde conversava com as visitas. Assim tivemos dias de glória enquanto a família crescia.
Mais uma vez estava grávida e logo eu teria ‘três mosqueteiros’. Eu os chamava assim para fazer valer o lema, “um por todos e todos por um”. O primogênito levou muito a sério o papel responsável que tinha na família. Era o comandante da casa, mas logo aos 17 anos saiu de casa para estudar e trabalhar numa cidade vizinha. Teve que enfrentar a vida de frente e lutar pelo pão, enquanto eu me desdobrava para pagar o Curso de Direito. Entre as muitas dificuldades que enfrentou, o único alento era o orgulho que tinha de ‘sua mãe’. Passava o intervalo, entre as aulas, no orelhão da escola falando comigo, quando na verdade queria mostrar para aquelas pessoas o quanto ele me amava.
Por muitos anos vivemos assim. A conta telefônica alta, na época, era o único luxo que tínhamos. Se apaixonou pela moça mais inteligente e mais bonita da sua turma. Desafiou a realidade e ganhou com elegância o seu coração.
Tão logo concluíram o curso, passaram no Exame da Ordem e se casaram. Ainda teriam que passar por muitas dificuldades, mas ergueram a cabeça e ganharam o mundo. Foram morar no Japão.
O que posso dizer é que sofri a dor do parto por longos anos, mas hoje, se parar para fazer as contas, a ausência física já ultrapassou a presença, mas ainda sinto como se ele estivesse aqui dentro de mim. Todos os momentos que estou com ele, mesmo à distância, estamos verdadeiramente presentes. Sinto como se não houvesse nenhum limite nessa comunhão. Desde muito pequeno ele já me olhava e via algo que, naquele instante, parecia incompreensível para mim. Muitas vezes pensei, ‘o que esse menino vê em mim? ‘.
De uma coisa eu sei, ninguém nunca me olhou e enxergou com tanto zelo e precisão. Ele foi o meu primeiro incentivo real na vida. Os nossos instantes virtuais têm qualidade, o nosso vínculo cresce substancialmente a cada encontro. A minha neta Alice, que nasceu do outro lado do planeta já sente responsabilidade em me ver. Já aprendeu a dar carinho espontâneo e verdadeiro. Tem sempre um bom motivo para vir ao meu encontro. O que me faz acreditar que não é a proximidade física que une as pessoas e sim a qualidade do encontro.
