‘Correios: do orgulho nacional à incerteza do presente’
Durante décadas, a Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos foi motivo de orgulho para todos os brasileiros. Símbolo de integração nacional, os Correios estiveram presentes nos lugares mais distantes do país, conectando pessoas, histórias e afetos.
Recordo-me com carinho do tempo em que escrevia cartas para minha avó e para meus primos. A expectativa era sempre grande. Havia algo quase mágico em receber aquelas correspondências envoltas no tradicional envelope de bordas verdes e amarelas. O simples som do portão anunciava alegria: o carteiro chegava trazendo notícias, saudades e emoção. Ele não entregava apenas cartas – entregava vínculos humanos.
Naquele período, os Correios representavam eficiência, confiança e presença do Estado a serviço da população. A instituição cumpria sua missão social com dignidade e respeito, sendo reconhecida como uma das mais importantes empresas públicas do país.
Hoje, infelizmente, a realidade é outra. A empresa encontra-se mergulhada em dívidas, enfrentando sucessivas crises administrativas e operacionais. O que antes era sinônimo de credibilidade tornou-se motivo de frustração. Os atrasos são constantes, as encomendas não chegam dentro dos prazos e milhares de brasileiros convivem diariamente com a insegurança e a decepção.
Essa situação é profundamente lamentável. Não apenas pelos prejuízos econômicos, mas sobretudo pela perda simbólica de uma instituição que fez parte da memória afetiva de gerações. Quando os Correios falham, não se trata apenas de logística – trata-se da quebra de confiança entre o cidadão e um serviço que deveria ser essencial.
Ainda assim, resta-nos a esperança. Torcemos para que soluções responsáveis e eficazes sejam adotadas, que a empresa seja reestruturada com seriedade e que volte a cumprir o papel histórico que sempre desempenhou: o de unir o Brasil por meio da comunicação, do respeito e da eficiência.
Que os Correios possam, um dia, voltar a ser motivo de orgulho – não apenas nas lembranças do passado, mas também na realidade do presente e nas promessas do futuro.

Dom Alexandre da Silva Camêlo Rurikovich Carvalho é natural de Nova Iguaçu, Estado do Rio de Janeiro, nascido em 20 de agosto de 1974. Casado, pai de dois filhos, é licenciado em História e Filosofia, tecnólogo em Eventos e bacharel em Direitos Humanos com ênfase em Ciências Sociais. Possui formação especializada em nível de pós-graduação nas áreas de História do Brasil, História Antiga e Medieval, Filosofia, Ciências Políticas, Jornalismo, Docência do Ensino Superior, Produção Cultural e Patrimônio Histórico, Artístico e Cultural entre outras. É coautor de mais de quarenta obras literárias e atua como colunista do Jornal Cultural ROL, desenvolvendo produção intelectual voltada à história, cultura, filosofia, direitos humanos e diplomacia cultural. Foi reconhecido por Notório Saber em Filosofia pelo Instituto Universitas Ecclesiae do Brasil. Detém centenas de títulos honoríficos, medalhas e condecorações concedidas por instituições nacionais e internacionais. É Doctor of Humane Letters pela Logos University International (UNILOGOS) e Doctor of Philosophy in Peace pela International University of Higher Martial Arts Education. Atua como Agente de Representação Diplomática Dinástico-Cultural, com status de Embaixador Honorário da Organização Internacional de Diplomacia Cultural.
