Ao despertar, abro o livro da vida.
É como se abrisse a janela da alma
e deixasse fluir de mim os melhores sentimentos.
Muitas páginas já foram escritas…
Algumas ainda por escrever.
Há muitas flores, alguns espinhos,
mas procuro sempre ressaltar
o que vale a pena se ver.
Não escrevo sobre mágoas,
pois elas em mim não residem.
Prefiro enaltecer e dar cores
aos momentos de felicidade e de amor.
Nos jardins, aromas que inebriam.
Nas estradas, novos amigos surgem.
Mares, montanhas e luzes
nos maravilham todos os dias.
Minha pena desliza pelas folhas deste livro,
registrando cada momento.
Só desejo que, ao fim da minha jornada, não haja dor e nem lamentos.
Que eu possa transmitir a quem o ler,
que a vida, apesar das tristezas,
deve ser vivida intensamente.
Sem medos, fraquezas ou dúvidas
e atento às belezas e oportunidades de ser feliz imensamente.

O Brilho da Memória no “Livro da Vida” do Poeta José Antonio Torres
O poeta brasileiro José Antonio Torres nos apresenta, em seu poema “O Livro”, uma visão filosófica transbordante de otimismo e luminosidade, onde transforma a idade de um mero tempo passageiro em um “manuscrito” sagrado, no qual somente o ser humano possui a pena para escrevê-lo. O poema começa com um convite explícito à reconciliação com o eu; despertar, para ele, não é apenas um ato biológico, mas sim uma “janela da alma” que se abre para os sentimentos mais nobres.
Torres domina o uso da dualidade (flores e espinhos), reconhecendo a realidade da dor, mas escolhendo, com uma consciência aguçada, não lhe conceder tinta em suas páginas, afirmando que “as mágoas nele não residem”. O poeta obteve êxito ao transformar a “pena” em um instrumento de libertação, convertendo as memórias em uma tela colorida que deslumbra os corações e nos ensina que a beleza reside na “atenção” às oportunidades de felicidade sempre disponíveis por trás da escuridão das tristezas. O poeta aqui não escreve apenas com a tinta da caneta, mas com a tinta da experiência moldada pelos anos, transformando o “livro da vida” de um registro de fatos em um corredor de luz, presenteando-nos com a essência da sabedoria: que a vida verdadeira reside em capturar o momento e acalentar a beleza, por mais que os minutos estejam repletos de espinhos.
