O julgamento do frango (que pediu tempero)
Dizem que a história aconteceu numa daquelas noites em que a fome não pede licença.
Ela entra. Senta. E ainda pergunta se tem mais.
A jovem passou a madrugada inteira tentando resolver o problema mais antigo da humanidade: o que comer. Abriu panela vazia, fechou panela vazia, olhou dentro da geladeira como quem espera que apareça um milagre entre a luz e o vento frio.
Nada.
Já estava quase considerando fritar o próprio pensamento quando alguém apareceu trazendo um frango, com aquela generosidade prática de quem resolve a vida sem muita filosofia, .
E que frango!
Dourado, cheiroso, daqueles que parecem ter passado a vida inteira se preparando exatamente para aquele momento.
A jovem, já meio fraca de tanto pensar e pouco mastigar, não fez muitas perguntas. Quando a fome aperta, a curiosidade costuma tirar férias.
Só depois — porque sempre existe um depois — alguém comentou, com aquele ar de quem gosta de estragar prato pronto, que ali estava um ovo disfarçado de galinha. Um futuro poleiro que não chegou a conhecer o próprio quintal.
Mas, a essa altura, o destino já estava decidido.
Existe uma lei antiga que nunca passou pelo Congresso: comida costuma nascer para encontrar a fome.
Claro que há quem pense diferente — e com razão. Tem gente que olha para uma cenoura e vê jantar. Olha para um frango e já imagina até o nome dele.
Tudo bem também.
O curioso é que, quando o assunto é comida, sempre aparecem especialistas em prato alheio. Surge logo um Seu Galo, juiz de panela e galinhada, um fiscal de frigideira e até um perito em panela queimada de brigadeiro.
Todo mundo pronto para dar sentença.
Enquanto isso, no silêncio respeitável do prato, o frango cumpre seu destino sem reclamar — o que, convenhamos, já demonstra mais educação que muita gente.
Porque, no fim das contas, a fome raramente julga.
Quem julga mesmo costuma estar de barriga ‘forrada’.
E, pensando bem, se o frango pudesse dar opinião sobre tudo isso…
Provavelmente pediria menos debate…
E mais tempero.
