ela sentiu.
Sentiu quando recebeu o recado.
No caminho da roça,
leu na foia da bananeira:
“A moça aí,
que lê
essas palavra
nem tão expricada muidinha…
Ocê ama cumê pão de queijo?
Hoje, na noitinha,
lá pras banda
do mato arrumado…”
Foi um trem assim, ó—
mistura de “Nossinhora!”
com “Valei-me, misericórdia!”
Deu um frio na espinhela…
que eu vou te contá!
Caí foi estatelada!
Os zói?
Tudo esbugaiado!
Senti a terra tremê…
as perna bambiá…
e o juízo?
ficô foi pra trás!
O que era prova de amor…
virô foi horta chuvosa!
E eu pensei:
— uai… e agora?
o que mais pode miorá?
A resposta veio ligeirinha:
— Tudo!
É só ocê abri a boca
que eu como até furá a panela!
Cê queria resposta?
Então toma:
Eu amo, sim!
Mas amo mesmo…
igual queijo com goiabada —
grudado, doce
e impossível de largá!
Aê!!!
Agora dança o revortê,
que o trem aqui é sério…
mas nem tanto!
