Meio-dia. Sol causticante! Somente nesse momento pude ir ao supermercado, próximo de casa, dando para ir a pé e demandando, no máximo, 10 minutos.
Na volta, contudo, com sacolas em ambas as mãos, o trajeto demandaria mais tempo e, com o Sol parecendo um deus olímpico furioso, o trajeto se afigurava o Deserto de Lut, no Irã, considerado o local mais quente da Terra.
Respirei profundamente e dei os primeiros passos, que, gradativamente, ganhavam pouco terreno. “Ó, céus! Por que não sai mais cedo?” ─ A autoacusação me era um açoite, do mais cruel dos algozes.
Entretanto, pouco mais à frente, algumas árvores, em espaços intermitentes, derramavam sombra, onde até um cordão de formigas parecia se refrescar. Uma diferença de temperatura recebida pelo meu corpo, feita a absolvição de um pecado capital.
E de trechos em trechos, refrescado pelas árvores amigas, continuei meu caminho, a refletir sobre a vida. A vida, com seus altos e baixos, num carrossel de emoções antagônicas, ora nos empurrando aos abismos do desespero, ora nos alçando ao cume da celebração pelos tempos amenos.
O Sol, do alto de sua inalcançável distância, mas presente na pele, ainda continuava de cara fechada, parecendo até mesmo mais abrasador. Todavia, um pensamento começou a ganhar forma, trazido pela brisa da inspiração: a vida, de tempos em tempos, se nos apresenta como um inclemente deserto; nos fustiga o corpo e deixa cicatrizes na alma, mas também, após o transe do momento, nos apresenta o oásis de uma inspiração divina, de um ombro amigo, da esperança de dias plenos de alegria.
A vida, desta forma, nos põe a duras provas, visando o despertar de consciência, mas, sabendo de nossa falibilidade, nos oferece momentos de trégua, reparadora dos embates diários.
São os momentos-oásis, nos quais o viajante, perdido e sedento nas estradas terrenas, encontra a paz de espírito, com o lenitivo da compreensão de que, no final de todas as batalhas, o verdadeiro e perene oásis sempre esteve dentro de si!
