Dom Alexandre e a FEBACLA: ‘Oásis num deserto cultural’
Quem navega pelos mares da internet, especialmente em busca de notícias ligadas à cultura e a arte das Letras, já se deparou com o nome da FEBACLA (Federação Brasileira dos Acadêmicos das Ciências, Letras e Artes) e, também, com o do seu presidente, Dom Alexandre da Silva Camêlo Rurikovich Carvalho.
Esses dois indissociáveis nomes – sendo um basicamente a extensão do outro – têm promovido a valorização da arte e da cultura não somente no Brasil como em outros países, especialmente os que têm a Língua Portuguesa como idioma oficial.
Seria monótono e desgastante repetir aqui todo o currículo de Dom Alexandre e todo o histórico da FEBACLA. Basta, creio, dizer que o primeiro é jornalista, escritor e pesquisador e que por seu trabalho tem realizado inúmeras homenagens aos produtores de cultura, bem como promovido a memória de personalidades históricas como Dom Pedro II, Chiquinha Gonzaga, Rei Ramiro II de Leão, Machado de Assis, Maria Quitéria, Anita Garibaldi entre tantas outras.
Por meio da FEBACLA, Dom Alexandre tem concedido honrarias, concernentes a medalhas e diplomas, que valorizam o trabalho do mundo das artes e, também, do ativismo. Num deserto cultural, no qual escritores e produtores de cultura caminham a duras penas sob o sol escaldante e o escárnio, muitas vezes escancarado, da sociedade, a concessão de tais honrarias é como um oásis em que se recupera a força e o estímulo para prosseguir nessa viagem em prol da cultura.
Muito além de atiçar a vaidade, o recebimento de uma honraria representa o reconhecimento e a certeza de que alguém percebe a importância do trabalho cultural, seja por meio das Letras, da pesquisa histórica, ou de qualquer outra modalidade de arte ou produção cultural.
A FEBACLA ainda tem arregimentado acadêmicos em diversos lugares, dando posse anualmente a muitos daqueles que se dedicam à produção literária. É uma das poucas entidades acadêmicas a valorizar um número tão vasto de pessoas. E por ser uma entidade de cunho nacional, reflete a diversidade do povo brasileiro abarcando todos os sotaques, todas as cores, todos os regionalismos.
Ainda por meio do Centro Sarmathiano de Altos Estudos Filosóficos e Históricos, Instituição Oficial de Pesquisas Históricas, Filosóficas e Culturais da Augustíssima e Soberana Casa Real e Imperial dos Godos de Oriente, da qual Dom Alexandre é soberano representante, tem-se concedido o título de Doutor Honoris Causa, reconhecendo o trabalho de muitos abnegados que lutam pela melhoria intelectual e social do país.
É tranquilizador saber que no Brasil, e também nos países lusófonos, o trabalho com a cultura e a arte recebe os olhares sensíveis de reconhecimento social. E que as honrarias concedidas por Dom Alexandre da Silva Camêlo Rurikovich Carvalho materializam as nobres palavras de incentivo: “Siga em frente!”.

Natural de São Paulo (SP, atualmente reside em Sorocaba. É professor de História da rede pública municipal de Porto Feliz (SP). Licenciado em História e em Pedagogia, Bacharel em Teologia e Mestre em Educação (UFSCar, campus Sorocaba). Historiador, escritor, poeta, documentarista e pesquisador de cultura popular paulista. Autor de mais de duas dezenas de livros, dentre os quais se destacam: ‘Folclore em Sorocaba’, ‘Salvadora!’, ‘Scenas da Escravidão, ‘Memória Operária’, ‘André no Céu’, ‘Entre o Sereno e os Teares’ e ‘Vadios e Imorais’.
